Color Line suspends some of its activities

Our project partner Color Line, which operates luxury passenger ferries crossing the North Sea as well as cargo ships, announced that it is suspending passenger operations until further notice. The decision to suspend some of its operations is a result of the government restrictions to limit passenger movement as part of the strict infection control measures. We have been informed that this will not affect the project.
Rethinking dissemination activities due to COVID-19

Given the current COVID-19 pandemic measures, we expect that many events will be cancelled or turned into digital events. To ensure that project dissemination activities will not be significantly affected by event cancellations, the E-Nav consortium will closely monitor the current COVID-19 situation and rethink as well as anticipate early next steps for our planned dissemination activities.
Nor-Shipping 2019

Last week we attended Nor-Shipping, a maritime trade fair that has been held in Norway every other year since 1965. It is one of the leading international shipping events and an important meeting place and forum for the shipping industry. At our stand we have received a lot of attention so this has given us a great comfort and motivation to keep developing our sail-plan optimisation service for the maritime market.
The Kick-off Meeting of E-Nav project

The kick-off meeting of the E-Nav project was held on 11th April 2019 bringing together 5 partners from 3 countries. The meeting marked the official launch of the project and its main objective was to confirm the common agenda of the project and to define the first steps of the project implementation. Many important issues were presented and discussed during the meeting, such as the tasks of the different work packages, specific roles of the project partners, the technological challenges of the project, administrative and management procedures as well as the dissemination strategy.
